TechGen Metals Limited (ASX: TG1) announced the successful acceptance of bidding commitments for a placement worth AU$0.9 million, showcasing strong support from institutional and sophisticated investors. These funds will be utilised to drive drilling and exploration at the promising John Bull gold project in NSW, as well as advance other critical battery metals projects. The successful placement, priced at AU$0.07 per share, reflects investor confidence in TechGen's growth prospects.
The capital will play a significant role in driving exploration and drilling endeavors across multiple projects. Notably, Stage 2 RC drilling is currently underway at the John Bull gold project, with plans for Stage 3 permitting to include the recently discovered northern geochemical extension, displaying encouraging gold samples. Moreover, the raised capital will also be allocated for RC drilling at the Cyclops Ni-Cu-PGE project in Western Australia during the third quarter of 2023, along with field programs scheduled for various battery metals projects between June and August 2023.
