Synertec Corporation Limited (ASX: SOP) reported positive results for FY25 Q1, highlighting strong performance in its engineering business, despite a general cooling in the sector. The company secured a key appointment to Water Corporation’s Process Control Technologies panel, giving access to over AU$100 million in water-related project opportunities over the next five years. This win further strengthens Synertec’s presence in Australia’s water technology sector and provides opportunities for large-scale infrastructure projects.
The engineering services offered include SCADA systems, electrical and instrumentation, communication systems, and cybersecurity. Synertec is one of five entities on the panel. Additionally, the Powerhouse business is growing, focusing on opportunities in coal seam gas basins, backed by the appointment of David Harris as Head of Technology Solutions. The company has also recalibrated its workforce to align with anticipated opportunities. With new board leadership under Johannes Risseeuw, Synertec aims to build momentum, driving growth and enhancing shareholder value.
