Sunshine Metals Limited Initiates Drilling at Coronation Copper Gold Target

Sunshine Metals Limited (ASX: SHN) has initiated RC drilling at the promising Coronation copper-gold target. This marks the beginning of a comprehensive drilling campaign within the Ravenswood Consolidated Project (100%) in North Queensland. The Coronation target, seen as a geological parallel to the nearby historic Highway-Reward Mine, which yielded notable results of 3.9 million tonnes at 5.4% Cu and 1.1 g/t Au (equivalent to 215,000 tonnes of Cu and 138,000 ounces of Au), holds substantial potential. The initial phase of drilling involves up to nine holes, covering a total distance of 1,770 meters, aimed at investigating six gravity anomalies believed to be massive sulphide pipes. Remarkably, rock samples from this area have shown up to 13.8 g/t Au.

 Following this, the drilling focus will shift to the gold-copper rich Carrington Lode at Liontown, and subsequently, exploration will continue at the Lighthouse Farm-In tenements, targeting the unexplored northeast corner of the Plateau breccia pipe and shear zones at Cardigan Dam. This drilling campaign underscores Sunshine Metals' commitment to unlocking the significant mineral potential in the region.
