Strategic Energy Resources Secures AU$275K Government Grant to Drill Nardoo Copper-Gold Prospect

Strategic Energy Resources Limited (ASX: SER) has been awarded AU$275,000 from the Queensland Government's Collaborative Exploration Initiative (CEI) to fund diamond drilling at the Nardoo Copper-Gold Prospect within its 100%-owned Isa North Project. The funding will support drill testing of the high-priority N8 target, a standout geophysical anomaly confirmed by traditional exploration methods, and a machine learning model ranking targets across the Mt Isa Province. Preparations are underway, with land access and heritage surveys already completed. Drilling is scheduled to begin by mid-2025, following a post-wet-season ground assessment. The Isa North Project is near major players, including Fortescue, Anglo-American, and Rio Tinto. SER's Managing Director, Dr David DeTata, praised the government's continued support and reaffirmed SER's commitment to advancing scientific exploration to unlock new mineral discoveries in the Mt Isa Inlier.
