Strategic alliance with Austral Resources to process NFM copper ore

New Frontier Minerals Ltd (ASX: NFM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Austral Resources Ltd (ASX: AR1) to create a strategic alliance, integrating their assets across the Mt Isa copper belt. This collaboration leverages NFM’s NWQ Copper Project and AR1’s Mt Kelly processing facility to maximize exploration and mining potential.

The partnership focuses on processing copper ore from NFM’s Big One Deposit and other satellite prospects. AR1 will process the ore, subject to metallurgical test results meeting input grade criteria. This alliance provides NFM with a clear path to production while AR1 secures additional copper ore feedstock, creating mutual value and advancing exploration and mining activities in the region.
