Squid EM survey yields substantial copper-gold prospect at Mabel Creek

Petratherm Limited (ASX: PTR) reports that the recently completed SQUID EM surveys on its large Mabel Creek tenement package have yielded an attractive new copper-gold potential known as the Olympus potential. A high-powered SQUID EM survey has found a conductive plate with sizeable dimensions on the eastern flank of a primary gravity target.

Modelling of the conductive plate shows that it begins at a vertical depth of around 600 metres, measures about 2 kilometres in length, and extends to a depth of at least 2 kilometres back towards the gravity target's centre. The Mabel Creek Project is located along the Olympic Copper-Gold trend on the eastern edge of the Gawler Craton, home to multiple world-class copper-gold deposits. Drill preparation and contracts are ongoing to test the Olympus Target in the second half of the 2023 calendar year.
