SLBs Trident Project pegmatite sampling unveils multiple high-grade lithium assays

Aug 15, 2023

Stelar Metals Limited (ASX: SLB) has obtained promising results from its initial rock-chip sampling at the newly acquired Trident Lithium Project near Broken Hill in New South Wales. The first reconnaissance rock-chip sampling undertaken by the company at the Trident Lithium Project in NSW yielded several high-grade lithium assays. Notably, a significant portion, around 70%, of the rock-chips extracted from the historical Trident Lithium Pegmatite Mine have demonstrated lithium oxide (Li2O) concentrations exceeding 5%.

Moreover, soil samples from the Trident region have revealed lithium concentrations of up to 1,756 parts per million (ppm). The geological mapping efforts carried out by Stelar have identified distinct zoned pegmatite formations at the site of the historical Trident Lithium Mine. Stelar is currently orchestrating various exploration initiatives to establish a portfolio of robust hard-rock lithium pegmatite prospects.
