SKY Metals Advances Tallebung Tin Project with High-Grade Drilling Success

Sky Metals Limited (ASX: SKY) has reported promising results from its recent diamond drilling program at its 100%-owned Tallebung Tin Project in central NSW. All five holes from the program intersected strong tin mineralisation, notably hole TBD018, which delivered 6.65m at 1.01% tin, including a higher-grade interval of 2.65m at 2.46% tin and 0.17% tungsten. These results highlight the extension potential of the deposit, which remains open in all directions. Building on this momentum, the company is launching a 70-hole, 8,000m Reverse Circulation drilling program to enhance the Mineral Resource Estimate and identify more shallow, high-grade zones aimed at improving project economics. With tin prices surging due to global supply disruptions, Sky’s strategy to accelerate development at Tallebung positions it as a potential key supplier of tin—an essential metal in semiconductors and solar PV technology. The project’s metallurgy supports low-cost, scalable production using advanced ore sorting techniques.
