Silver Mines announced the expansion of the Southern Gold Zone at the Bowdens Silver Project

Silver Mines Limited (ASX: SVL) announced an update on exploratory drilling efforts and recent test findings at the Bowdens Silver Project in New South Wales.

The Southern Gold Zone is currently classified as over 450 meters long, 250 meters wide, and 15 to 85 meters thick. The zone is located near the surface to the south of Bowdens and outside the currently proposed open-cut pit, implying that future open-pit design expansions are possible. Exploration drilling will continue to search for expansions of the Southern Gold Zone to the southeast and east. According to research, in the Bowdens Silver Project's last phase of mineralization, gold is coupled with an electrum rich in silver.
