Reedy Lagoon (ASX: RLC) is advancing its Burracoppin Gold Project in Western Australia with exploration activities planned at four key prospects. Gold targets have been identified using geophysical and geochemical data, with additional soil sampling scheduled to refine target selection for future drilling. Sampling will begin after the area's current harvest season concludes. At the Lady Janet prospect, multiple anomalies have been highlighted, including LJ1, where an interpreted anticline structure and amphibolite within granite suggest potential for gold mineralization.
Discrete magnetic anomalies at LJ2, LJ3, and LJ10, associated with intersecting structures and shearing, may indicate favorable zones for gold deposition. Historical exploration at LJ3 returned anomalous gold, including 1 meter at 1.7 g/t Au. Strong gold-in-soil anomalies at LJ6 and LJ7 further enhance the area’s prospectivity. The project leverages advanced UAV magnetic survey data, providing detailed insights to optimize exploration and target delineation.
