Prospech Limited (ASX: PRS) unveiled impressive assay results from the auger drilling of the Lanthanide concentrate stockpile at its wholly-owned Korsnäs project. These high-grade TREO assay results from the Lanthanide concentrate stockpile, coupled with the assay results from the Tailings Storage Facility and the Company’s participation in the REMHub EU grant project, continue to underscore the exceptional potential of the Korsnäs project, establishing it as one of the most promising Rare Earth Element (REE) assets in Finland. Furthermore, the first diamond core drilling of the Korsnäs project since the 1970s presents a unique opportunity to expand the known Korsnäs mineralization downward and along its expanse while validating the historical drilling and sampling results to date.
The aim was to produce a considerably higher grade of REE mineral concentrate than the technology of the 1960s. To achieve this, a range of advanced techniques were utilized, including Heavy Media Separation, Flotation using modern reagents, and both Low- and High-Intensity Magnetic Separation.
