Positive Results for Prosper Primeiro Trials in Angola

Minbos Resources Limited (ASX: MNB) is excited to share the initial results from its four-year fertilizer trials in Angola, featuring the "Prosper Primeiro" phosphate fertilizer. The trials, conducted in collaboration with commercial offtake agreements and government research institutions, have yielded highly promising outcomes. Notably, the nine trials showed no significant differences among the four phosphate treatments, all of which outperformed the control group with no fertilizer. These results confirm the suitability of Prosper Primeiro for smallholder farmers, the company's primary target market.

Additionally, the findings support over four decades of research, affirming that high reactivity phosphate rock is effective for direct application in Angola's high-acidity, low-phosphorus, and high-rainfall soils. Prosper Primeiro is shown to deliver similar results to imported Water-Soluble Products (WSP) and exhibits a residual effect in subsequent seasons. The trials have also highlighted the advantages of broadcasting or incorporating the phosphate rock in the soil to maximize its exposure to soil acidity. These successful trials reinforce Minbos' confidence in fulfilling its commercial offtake agreements, positioning Prosper Primeiro favorably in the market.
