Hartshead Resources NL (ASX: HHR), in partnership with Rockrose Energy, has initiated the pipeline route survey for the Anning and Somerville fields using the Gardline Vessel "Ocean Observer." This survey is anticipated to extend through September, providing crucial data for the Environmental Statement and enhancing the understanding of seabed conditions to facilitate gas transportation pipeline installation. The MV Ocean Observer, an 80.4-meter Multi-Role Survey Vessel, will ascertain seabed and sub-seabed soil conditions, aiding in the finalization of pipeline design and efficient installation.
Simultaneously, bids for the Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning (EPIC) contract for the Anning and Somerville Platforms have been received in accordance with the field development plan. Hartshead Resources NL will evaluate the technical and commercial aspects of each bid before recommending a contract award to the JV Operating Committee. Keith Bush, Hartshead COO, expressed enthusiasm for the project's progress, highlighting the development's steady advancement towards the execution phase.
