Orient west drill hole hits 420 g/t silver equivalent, signaling resource potential

Aug 15, 2024

Iltani Resources Limited (ASX: ILT) has reported promising results from a deep diamond drill hole (ORD001) at its Orient project in northern Queensland, identifying potential for a significant underground resource. Funded by the Queensland Government's Collaborative Exploration Initiative, the drill hole intersected the silver-lead-zinc-indium vein system, revealing notable results, including 6 meters at 189 g/t silver equivalent, with a higher-grade section of 2 meters at 420 g/t silver equivalent. The drilling indicates that the vein system remains open at depth and can extend the high-grade core zone. Additionally, two leading conductors associated with the sulphide-rich vein system have been identified, representing high-priority drill targets for further exploration. These findings highlight the substantial underground resource potential at the Orient site.
