OpenLearning Signs AU$175,000 SaaS Deal with Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto
OpenLearning Limited (ASX: OLL) has secured a five-year, usage-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreement worth approximately AU$175,000 with Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP), the largest private university in western Central Java, Indonesia. Under the partnership, OpenLearning’s AI-powered learning management system (LMS) will support around 19,000 students annually, enhancing UMP’s digital learning infrastructure. UMP, part of the extensive Muhammadiyah educational network operating 89 universities across Indonesia, selected OpenLearning after evaluating several LMS platforms and observing its success at other Muhammadiyah institutions.
The agreement reinforces OpenLearning’s growing footprint in Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia, the Philippines, and now Indonesia. CEO Adam Brimo described the partnership as a milestone that highlights rising regional demand for AI-driven, outcomes-based learning solutions. The contract, commencing 17 November 2025, is OpenLearning’s largest to date in Indonesia and is expected to strengthen its position as a premier provider of next-generation education technology across the region.
