Noronex Expands Copper Exploration in Botswana and Namibia

Noronex Limited (ASX: NRX) is a copper exploration company with key projects in the Kalahari Copper Belt across Namibia and Botswana, and in Ontario, Canada. The company has secured two new prospecting licences in Botswana, covering 1,467 km² of highly prospective, previously unexplored ground adjacent to a major BHP-Cobre partnership area. These new licences align with Noronex’s strategy to explore the underexplored basin margins believed to host copper mineralisation similar to Zambia’s Copperbelt. The company awaits environmental approval to commence soil sampling in Botswana and has pending results from recent drilling at the Damara Copper Project in Namibia. Noronex also holds a 10 Mt @ 1.3% Cu JORC Resource at its Witvlei Project. With plans to leverage modern exploration technologies, the company aims to expand its copper resource base and unlock new discoveries. A new subsidiary, Tilodi Metals Botswana, has been established to manage operations in Botswana.
