Newmont Corporation (ASX: NEM) has filed its 2024 Form 10-K, delivering strong operational and financial results. Sales climbed to AU$18.7 billion, driven by the successful Newcrest acquisition and higher metal prices across the board. Net income came in at AU$3.3 billion, while adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to AU$8.7 billion. Attributable gold production increased 24% year-on-year to nearly 7 million ounces. The company generated AU$6.3 billion in operating cash flow and AU$2.9 billion in free cash flow.
Newmont progressed major growth projects including Tanami Expansion 2 and Ahafo North, while also divesting several non-core assets. The average realised gold price was AU$2,408/oz, with all-in sustaining costs at AU$1,516/oz. Backed by AU$7.7 billion in liquidity, Newmont remains focused on sustainable, long-term value creation.
