New High-Priority LCT Pegmatite Drill Targets Unveiled

Jun 08, 2023

Future Battery Minerals Ltd (FBM) has identified multiple new high-priority drill targets at the Kangaroo Hills Lithium Project (KHLP) in Western Australia. Through ongoing target generative work, FBM has discovered seven large-scale spodumene pegmatite targets, totaling over 3 km in strike length. The most significant target is the Big Red Prospect, which exhibits a resistivity anomaly coinciding with a 1km strike length, indicating the potential for expanding on previous intercepts of high-grade spodumene pegmatite.

These targets were identified through comprehensive analysis of regional-scale geophysical, geochemical, and mapping data, including mapping and rock chip sampling of pegmatites, magnetic litho-structural interpretation, and resistivity survey correlations. Phase 3 reverse circulation (RC) drilling will soon commence to test these new targets, while assays for approximately 23 holes from Phase 2 drilling at the Big Red discovery are still pending.
