Mayur Resources (ASX: MRL) and Vision Blue Resources finalize US$40M, 49% stake deal in Central Lime Project. This agreement, following the earlier announcement of a Term Sheet in August 2023, solidifies the partnership. The investment from Vision Blue is contingent upon specific conditions being met.
The Proposed Investment holds significant importance, as it would cover the entire equity funding requirement for the CLP in Papua New Guinea. This funding will facilitate the project's development, construction, on-site carbon reduction initiatives, and the initiation of commercial production. Mayur and Vision Blue are collaboratively exploring options for securing debt financing ranging from US$70-90 million. Higher-end funding could accelerate the CLP's expansion beyond its initial projections. Apart from reducing imports, the CLP will generate employment opportunities immediately and establish Papua New Guinea's inaugural downstream processing resource manufacturing hub.
