MPG has unveiled the initial findings from the HM separation test

Many Peaks Gold Limited (ASX: MPG) has released the initial results of the HM separation test conducted on the Plateau Cobalt Project (Plateau Project) in central Queensland. The findings confirm that cobalt mineralization, hosted in manganese oxides, has been effectively concentrated through dense media separation.

The samples collected from the first four diamond holes show the presence of cobalt mineralization, with grades reaching up to 0.252% cobalt over a 1.05m interval. This cobalt mineralization is associated with manganese oxide, ranging from 0.85 meters to 2 meters thick within the initial four holes. At the Plateau Project, it is found at the base of an approximately 20 meters thick layer of alluvial sand enriched in heavy mineral sands (HMS). From the four previously reported diamond holes, HM separation yielded an average cobalt grade of 0.69% and a nickel grade of 0.21% in the cobalt horizon.
