Mount Ridley Mines Limited (ASX: MRD) has announced the appointment of Mr Allister Caird as Chief Executive Officer, effective 6 November 2025, marking a strategic leadership move to advance its rare earth and critical minerals portfolio in Western Australia’s Esperance region. Mr Caird, a geologist with over 15 years of experience in exploration, research, and project development, previously served as Head of Critical Minerals at Locksley Resources Ltd (ASX: LKY), where he led downstream strategy development in the United States and helped secure a key collaboration with Rice University on advanced processing technologies.
His extensive background across ASX, OTC, and AIM exchanges, alongside his research experience at CSIRO, enhances Mount Ridley’s technical and strategic capabilities. Chairman Peter Christie stated that Mr Caird’s expertise in global critical minerals markets will strengthen the company’s engagement with government, institutional, and industry stakeholders as it seeks partnerships and funding to progress its rare earth and gallium projects.
