Monash IVF acquires Fertility North Holdings in Perth

Monash IVF Group (ASX: MVF) has revealed its entry into a Share Sale Agreement for the acquisition of Fertility North Holdings Pty Ltd, a prominent fertility services provider in Perth's northern suburbs. Established in 2002 by respected fertility specialists Dr. Vince Chapple and Dr. Jay Natalwala, Fertility North operates from a cutting-edge clinic at Joondalup Health Campus. The acquisition involves 80% of Fertility North for an upfront cash consideration of approximately AU$12.0 million, with potential additional earn-out payments based on financial targets.

This strategic move is expected to add eight fertility specialists to Monash IVF Group and increase its Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) by around 4%. The completion of the acquisition, slated for Q3 FY24, is contingent on various conditions, including approval from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
