Mid-Market: S&P/ASX 200 Trading Lower By 0.37%; Weighed Down By Tech Stocks

The Healthcare and Consumer Staples sectors are the top 2 gaining sectors, gaining 0.50% and 0.31% in their index values. On the other hand, the Information Technology and Consumer Discretionary sectors are the top 2 losing sectors, declining 2.23% and 0.64% in their index values.

Ingenia Communities Group (ASX: INA) and Coronado Global Inc. (ASX: CRN) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 3.061% and 2.959% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Minerals Resources Limited (ASX: MIN) and Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM) are the top-losing stocks and are declining by 4.830% and 4.774% in their stock prices.

Factors influencing the market-

• Coronado Global Inc.'s share price jumped after maintaining its FY23 guidance and reporting production growth in the June quarter.
• Gold miners weakened as a stronger US dollar weighed on the precious metal's price; Newcrest dropped 4.6% to $26.39, and Evolution Mining fell 3.8% to $3.58.
• Atlas Arteria eased after reporting revenue growth in the June quarter due to more substantial traffic and higher tolls.
• Dow has closed up by 0.47%, S&P 500 down by 0.68%, and NASDAQ ended lower by 2.05%.
• Hang Seng is down by 0.13%, and FTSE 100 is up by 0.76%.
