All 11 sectors are trading lower along with the S&P/ASX 200. The Consumer Staples and A-REIT sectors are the top 2 gaining sectors, gaining 1.73% and 1.35% in their index values.

Chalice Mining Limited (ASX: CHN) and Core Lithium Ltd (ASX: CXO) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 8.417% and 7.608% in their stock prices. On the other hand, Evolution Mining Limited (ASX: EVN) and Life360 Inc. (ASX: 360) are the top-losing stocks and are declining by 14.493% and 4.354% in their stock prices.

Factors influencing the market-

• Endeavour Group Limited’s shares are rallying following it forecasted earnings before interest and tax in its hotels division to grow more than $150 million over the next five years.
• Perpetual Limited is gaining after it announced a strategic review of its corporate trust and wealth management business as it has started considering separating its corporate trust and wealth management businesses and creating a more focused asset management business.
• Evolution Mining crashed by 14% today after the miner said it raised $525 million after placing 138.2 million new shares to institutional investors at $3.80 a share.
• The Dow has closed down by 0.22%, the S&P 500 down by 0.06%, and the NASDAQ ended higher by 0.31%.
• Hang Seng is down by 1.91%, and FTSE 100 is down by 0.31%
