Mid-Market: S&P/ASX 200 Trading Higher By 0.39%; Lifted By REIT And Financials Sectors

The A-REIT and Financials sectors are the top 2 gaining sectors, gaining 2.10% and 0.78% in their index values. On the other hand, the Information Technology and Industrials sectors are the top 2 losing sectors, declining 0.61% and 0.17% in their index values.

Collins Food Limited (ASX: CKF) and Syrah Resources Limited (ASX: SYR) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 5.431% and 4.938% in their stock prices. • Collins Food shares are rising after the group impressed analysts with its same-store sales to start FY24, but the group also informed on rising cost inflation.
• Bega Cheese Limited’s shares gained marginally after it warned farm gate milk prices would increase again in FY24 but confirmed EBITDA guidance for FY23.
• Medibank Private Limited’s shares are declining today following the Australian Prudential and Regulation Authority said it has acted against Medibank following a review of the health insurer’s major cyber incident last October.
• Oil prices increased for a second consecutive day as concerns about political instability in Russia and potential supply disruptions counter-balanced worries about global demand.
• Dow has closed down by 0.04%, S&P 500 down by 0.45%, and NASDAQ ended lower by 1.16%.
• Hang Seng is down by 0.51%, and FTSE 100 is down by 0.11%.
