Diatreme Resources Limited (ASX: DRX) made a takeover offer for all the ordinary shares in Metallica Minerals Limited. Diatreme's Offer became unconditional on 17 June 2024, and they effectively gained control of Metallica. Following market practice and disclosures in its bidder's statement dated 28 March 2024, Diatreme approached Metallica to reconstitute its Board through a cooperative, efficient, and orderly process. Diatreme has increased its cooperative interest in Metallica to 71.28% and nominated Directors to the Board of Metallica to reflect Diatreme's ownership interest more closely.
