Macro Metals: Securing Aurora Lithium Project Rights

Macro Metals Limited (ASX: M4M) signed an exclusive option to acquire 85% of the lithium rights for the Aurora Lithium Project from Aurora Energy Metals Ltd (ASX: 1AE). The project resides within the McDermitt Caldera, a significant lithium province in the United States. Limited drilling targeting lithium delivered promising results, showcasing extensive mineralization in lakebed sediments. The project's mineralization remains open in all directions, offering potential beyond the uranium resource areas.

Macro Metals also secured firm commitments for a AU$3.35 million placement from institutional and sophisticated investors. The move is strategic, aligning with a key lithium province and opening pathways for domestic EV minerals production, facilitated by the USA's Inflation Reduction Act. The company is grateful for investor support and foresees a collaborative approach with Aurora Energy Metals for mutual benefits.
