Liontown Resources Limited (ASX: LTR) has announced its half-year financial results for 31 December 2024, highlighting strong operational and financial performance. The company successfully commenced spodumene concentrate production at Kathleen Valley, achieving production of 116,854 dmt and sales of 92,172 dmt at an average realised price of US$811/dmt. Revenue for the period totalled AU$100.4 million, driven by strong sales and ramp-up efficiency. The company maintained a solid cash balance of AU$193 million, supporting ongoing operations and expansion.
Key operational milestones included an annualised production rate of ~2.4Mtpa achieved in Q2 FY25, improved lithia recovery reaching 59% in December, and significant underground development progress. Safety and ESG remained a focus, with LTIFR at 0.66 and over 80% renewable power usage. With commercial production declared at Kathleen Valley from 01 January 2025, Liontown is well-positioned for further growth, targeting higher recovery rates and underground production by early Q4 FY25.
