Lion One Reports Strong Gold Grades from Tuvatu Mine in Fiji

Lion One Metals Limited (ASX: LLO) has announced positive mining results and higher-than-expected gold grades from its Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project in Fiji. Face sampling on the URW1a lode yielded 19.91 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold over the initial 35 meters of mining, while the URW1b lode returned 9.60 g/t of gold over the first 22.5 meters. The URW1 lode system was initially estimated to have an average grade of 14.05 g/t of gold, making the URW1a lode's grade stronger than anticipated, and the URW1b lode's grade representing additional potential.

Walter Berukoff, Lion One's Chairman and CEO, expressed satisfaction with the face sampling results, highlighting their accuracy in reflecting the mined material's grade. He also noted that the results provide a comprehensive understanding of the grade distribution within the lodes. As underground developments progress, the true potential of the Tuvatu system is becoming evident. The robust gold grades discovered in the face sampling program indicate the promising outlook for the Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project.
