Lightning Minerals (ASX: L1M) has announced a successful initial drilling program at its Dundas project in Western Australia, revealing the presence of multiple pegmatites. The project, located approximately 5km southeast of Liontown Resources' Buldania/Anna lithium deposit, demonstrates increased exploration potential on tenement E63/2001.
Highlights from the maiden Aircore drilling program include hole DSAC0033 intersecting a 20m pegmatite from 31m to 51m, hole DSAC0006 intersecting a 12m pegmatite from 9m to 21m, and hole DSAC0010 intersecting an 11m pegmatite from 34m to 45m. These intersected pegmatites remain open, offering further opportunities for determining the true thickness and potential expansion through follow-up drilling. The results validate Lightning Minerals’ exploration strategy of targeting multiple lithium-rubidium soil anomalies. The drilling program is currently about 25% complete, with ongoing operations
