Kuniko Limited (ASX: KNI) has unveiled two promising lithium prospects in Sweden. The Väne Ryr Pegmatite Project revealed high-grade lithium samples, peaking at 4.59% Li2O and averaging 2.64% Li2O across 11 rock samples during reconnaissance. This discovery sets a solid foundation for future explorations, indicating substantial potential for LCT pegmatite mineralization. Additionally, the Stora Flaten Greisen Project showcased lithium grades between 0.06% and 0.10% Li2O in greisen, alongside tin grades up to 1,570 ppm.
These findings highlight a strategic prospect for moderate-grade, high-volume lithium exploration. Kuniko will hold a 70% stake, while McKnight Resources AB will have a 30% interest in a joint venture covering these prospective areas. The company emphasizes ethical sourcing and a firm commitment to achieving a net zero carbon footprint, with operations in Norway and Canada relying predominantly on renewable energy sources. Registration of exploration permits for these projects is underway with Sweden's Mining Inspectorate.
