KTG Secures General Dynamics EB Navy ManTech Award

K-TIG Limited (ASX: KTG) shared that its cutting-edge welding technology has been chosen by General Dynamics Electric Boat for the prestigious US Department of Defense Navy Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Program. The primary objective of this program is to work on advancing the 'Next Generation Autogenous Welding Process and Equipment.

General Dynamics Electric Boat, a renowned company specializing in the design, construction, repair, and modernization of nuclear submarines for the US Navy, has been awarded the project. In a significant collaboration, K-TIG's welding technology will be employed to develop an innovative alternative to conventional gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) for pipe joints, marking a notable milestone in advancing naval manufacturing capabilities for both K-TIG and General Dynamics Electric Boat.
