Ioneer enters into a partnership with Dragonfly Energy

Ioneer Ltd (ASX: INR), an emerging manufacturer of lithium-boron, and Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp., a market leader in energy storage, recently announced a commercial offtake agreement partnership that will improve the supply chains for American batteries and make investments in the production and manufacturing of lithium from Nevada. The two Nevada-based businesses' collaboration is anticipated to open up new avenues for investment in the state and give Dragonfly access to a domestic lithium carbonate supply, a key component in lithium iron phosphate battery cells.

The arrangement advances an initiative to manufacture, use, and recycle lithium in Nevada, closing the lithium loop. The agreement also helps Dragonfly Energy to move closer to achieving the company’s mission of establishing a vertically integrated lithium battery cycle, from mining to cell and pack production to recycling.
