Ingenia Communities Group Welcomes John Carfi as CEO for Strategic Growth

Ingenia Communities Group (ASX: INA) has named Mr. John Carfi as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective from April 1, 2024. Carfi, with over 20 years of leadership experience in prominent property companies like Lendlease and Mirvac, and recent roles as CEO of Emaar Properties and Aqualand Australia, brings extensive real estate expertise to the position. The announcement was made by Jim Hazel, Chair of Ingenia Communities, expressing confidence in Carfi's ability to lead the company through its growth phase.

Incumbent CEO Simon Owen will step back in February, with CFO Justin Mitchell overseeing operations until Carfi's commencement. Carfi's employment terms include a fixed remuneration of $1,200,000 and various incentives tied to performance metrics. The appointment reflects the company's strategic focus on maximizing land value and ensuring long-term investor returns.
