Imugene Limited (ASX: IMU), a clinical-stage immuno-oncology firm, has successfully concluded the Share Purchase Plan (SPP) phase of its capital-raising initiative, carried out concurrently with the acquisition of exclusive licensing rights to azer-cel, resulting in an additional AU$18.2 million in funding. During the SPP, around 325 million shares were allocated at a rate of AU$0.056 per share. This rate represents the lower of AU$0.084 and a 2.5% discount compared to the 5-day VWAP (Volume-Weighted Average Price) up to the SPP's closing date on September 21, 2023.
Participating Eligible Shareholders in the SPP will also receive one complimentary option for each newly subscribed New Share. These New Options will have an exercise price of AU$0.118 per option and a maturity date of August 31, 2026, pending shareholder approval. Imugene intends to have these New Options listed on the ASX. The issuance of the newly subscribed ordinary shares through the SPP is anticipated to occur on September 26, 2023.
