On 23 May 2023, Highfield Resources Limited (ASX: HFR) announced that they had successfully secured a significant strategic investment from EMR Capital Management Limited and Tectonic Investment Management. The investment, amounting to approximately AU$25 million, will be provided through convertible notes, providing a much-needed cash injection for the company. With the recent receipt of the final construction license for the Muga Mine, Highfield's flagship project, the company is now fully permitted and ready for implementation.
The funds acquired from this investment are expected to propel the progress of the Muga Project and facilitate discussions with potential strategic and financial investors to secure complete financing for the project. This development marks a crucial milestone for Highfield as it continues to advance its operations. The key terms of the Convertible Notes include EMR Capital investing around AU$18million and Tectonic investing AU$7million, with a maturity date set for 24 months (2 years) from the completion date of the Convertible Notes.
