Hartshead Resources NL (ASX: HHR) has reached an agreement with Shell U.K. Limited for the transportation and processing of its Phase I gas field production through Shell's infrastructure in the Southern North Sea. The agreement covers the commercial terms for the transportation of gas, with Hartshead constructing a pipeline and subsea connection for transportation to the Shell infrastructure.
Gas will then be transported to Shell's Leman Alpha platform for processing and onward delivery to the Bacton Gas Terminal and the UK National Gas Transmission System. This agreement will enable the transportation and processing of Phase I gas production through Shell's infrastructure. The fully-termed agreements will specify any required modifications to the gas offtake route for the Anning and Somerville gas fields. The full agreements will be finalized concurrently with the submission of the Front-end Engineering and Design and the Field Development Plan to the UK government.
