Haranga Resources Ltd (ASX: HAR) has secured AU$500,000 in funding through a convertible unsecured loan from key shareholders. The funds will drive progress on Haranga’s Ibel South Gold Project, moving it to a “drill-ready” stage, and support ongoing auger drilling at the Saraya Uranium Project. Located in Senegal’s Kenieba inlier, Ibel South is positioned in a geologically favorable area known for gold discoveries, with nearby uranium prospects enhancing exploration potential.
Haranga’s Saraya Uranium Project, with an existing JORC-compliant resource of 17.6 million pounds U3O8, will benefit from continued auger drilling and anomaly evaluation across a 30km mineralized corridor. Managing Director Peter Batten expressed confidence that this funding will advance core projects and facilitate new opportunities in gold and clean energy. The support from existing shareholders underscores the commitment to Haranga’s strategy and ongoing development efforts in West Africa.
