GWR Group Limited: Secures AU$3million Deposit in a Binding AU$30million Asset Sale Deal

GWR Group Limited (ASX: GWR) Receives AU$3 million Non-Refundable Deposit in Wiluna West Iron Ore Project Sale Deal. Alongside the AU$30 million cash payment, there's an additional provision of an AU$2 DMT royalty for iron ore extracted from the Wiluna West project. This royalty scheme offers potential supplementary revenue, bolstering GWR's financial standing throughout the duration of mining operations.

With an intent to maximize the immediate value of its Iron Ore royalty, GWR is actively exploring opportunities with Royalty Streaming Funds. Concurrently, the company is actively evaluating fresh prospects within the resources sector and contemplating capital management strategies, such as a potential return of capital to shareholders. Post-receipt of the deposit, GWR's cash and equivalents amount to approximately AU$20 million. This includes a cash balance of roughly AU$13 million and tradeable listed securities valued at around AU$7 million.
