GreenHy2 Limited (ASX: H2G) has signed a contract with European technology supplier H2Core to integrate advanced supercapacitor batteries and low-pressure hydrogen (LPH) storage into its energy solutions. These innovations significantly outperform traditional Li-ion and hydrogen storage in cost, lifespan, safety, and efficiency. 

The graphene-based supercapacitor batteries offer an extended 25-40 year lifespan, 500,000 cycles, 100% depth of discharge, and high recyclability, eliminating fire risks and costly cooling systems. Additionally, LPH storage provides a 50% cost reduction for Telstra compared to previous hydrogen technology while maintaining superior safety and efficiency. By leveraging these advancements, GreenHy2 is poised to revolutionize energy storage, replacing Li-ion with supercapacitors for startup and balancing in hydrogen systems, ensuring sustainable, high-performance energy solutions.
