Great Western Exploration Limited: High-Grade Gold Results from Proof-of-Concept Drilling

Great Western Exploration Limited (ASX: GTE) has concluded a proof-of-concept drilling program at the Yandal West Project, uncovering noteworthy high-grade gold results. This initiative, consisting of four drill-holes along the Barwidgee Fault, yielded impactful findings, including notable results such as 4m @ 9.0g/t from 39m and 7m @ 1.02g/t from 23m in drill-hole 23YWRC023. The confirmed interpretation of the Barwidgee Fault's potential to host a substantial gold mineralized system marks a significant step for Great Western.

Situated within the Yandal Greenstone Belt, between the Bronzewing and Jundee Gold Mines, the underexplored Barwidgee Fault extends about 3km. The assay results, deemed substantial, remain open up to 2km south and 650m north from the original drilling intercepts of 23YWRC023. A subsequent drilling program, planned to explore areas north and south of these significant intercepts, is on the horizon. This effort marks a milestone for Great Western's exploration at the Yandal West Project, strategically located within the renowned Yandal Greenstone Belt.
