GrainCorp provided an update on its strategy and half-year accounts

GrainCorp Limited (ASX: GNC) releases financial information for the six months ended March 31, 2023:

• EBITDA for the company was down to AU$383 million from AU$427 million in the prior corresponding period.
• Previously, Net Profit After Tax was reported at AU$200 million as compared to AU$246 million in the previous corresponding period.
• The return on invested capital (ROIC) has decreased from 25.7% to 22.7%.
• The company is conducting preliminary analyses for developing new oilseed crush capacity in keeping with its focus on growth potential within the agri-energy industry.
• GrainCorp increases its forecast for FY23 earnings: FY23 EBITDA is anticipated to be in the range of AU$500 to AU$560 million, up from the previous range for the same period of AU$470 to AU$530 million. Net Profit After Tax is expected to be around AU$220 million to AU$260 million.
