Gold Duke Drilling Update

Western Gold Resources (ASX: WGR) has launched a 710m diamond drilling initiative at its wholly-owned Gold Duke Project in Western Australia, aiming to enhance pit design and conduct detailed metallurgical tests for both CIL and Heap Leach processing. This step is part of a broader Scoping Study based on an estimated 4.57Mt at 2.00g/t gold, with significant exploration targets identified for future mining approvals.

The drilling at four key deposits is crucial for advancing the project towards mining, amidst high gold prices, potentially offering substantial shareholder value. The project's progress includes existing mining approvals and ongoing efforts for additional permits, with the Scoping Study concentrating on shallow, oxide ore pits. Further drilling and geotechnical, as well as metallurgical testing, are scheduled, alongside native title surveys and infrastructure planning, with continuous market updates promised.
