Globe and TCM ink non-binding agreements for global exclusivity, licensing, and testing

Oct 23, 2023

Globe Metals & Mining Limited (ASX: GBE) has revealed the preliminary agreements with TCM Research Ltd (TCM) concerning metallurgical testing for the Kanyika Niobium Project. Under these non-binding term sheets, TCM will conduct crucial testing at its South African laboratory, focusing on refining high-grade niobium, tantalum, and other metals from the Kanyika concentrate using TCM Principal Technology.

The agreements also outline global exclusivity and licensing rights for Globe at the proposed Namibia refinery site. TCM, chosen from six experienced vendors for the project, will design the refinery process after conducting tests on a concentrate sample. Notably, the term sheets, except for confidentiality, are non-binding, with both parties aiming to finalize definitive agreements by November 30, 2023.
