Gibb River Diamonds Limited Gold Resource Expansion at Edjudina

Gibb River Diamonds Limited (ASX: GIB) has announced a JORC Inferred Resource of 24,800 tonnes at 1.51g/t for 1,200 ounces of gold at its Edjudina Gold Project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields. This new resource, located within historic heap leach pads, complements the Neta Prospect’s 378,000-tonne JORC Resource (1.9g/t for 24,000 oz Au), including an Indicated Resource of 110,000 tonnes @ 2.2g/t for 8,000 oz Au.

The leach pads, which date back to mining operations from the 1890s to the 1980s, contain recoverable gold at 1.0g/t, making them a viable addition to GIB’s Mine & Haul strategy. The company is progressing with permits and JV discussions for toll treatment at a third-party mill, supporting its low-cost, high-recovery approach. Given the ease of extraction, gold recovery could be expedited, providing a near-term revenue stream.
