GIBB River Diamonds Limited (ASX: GIB) the Edjudina Gold Project, owned by Gibb River Diamonds Ltd (GIB), offers promising exploration potential with 13 km of historic gold workings and shallow, high-grade gold lodes. Recent drilling at the Neta Prospect has produced significant results, including 36 million at 3.97g/t from 4 million and 1 million at 35.0g/t from 7 million. Metallurgical tests indicate excellent gold recovery of 92.6% from oxidized material.
The project’s location benefits from proximity to the Carosue Dam mill, with an active haul road adjacent to the tenement. GIB is awaiting Native Title approval for the mining lease M31/495, expected in late 2024. Once granted, the company will submit a mining proposal to the WA Mines Department. Additional drill targets include Ace of Hearts, Gawler, and Perseverance prospects, all with encouraging gold intercepts. Future plans involve assessing old leach dumps, pursuing corporate opportunities, and further exploration drilling to unlock the project’s full potential.
