Gateway Mining Limited: December 2024 Quarterly Activities Report

Gateway Mining Limited (ASX: GML) is set to embark on targeted exploration and business development initiatives in 2025, supported by a strengthened balance sheet following the sale of its Eastern Montague Gold Project to Brightstar Resources (ASX: BTR). This transaction provides a solid foundation for Gateway's growth and exploration plans.

The company is advancing exploration at the highly prospective Barrelmaker Gold Project and Montague Range Base Metals Project in Western Australia's Sandstone region. Barrelmaker has been confirmed as a promising early-stage opportunity with historical gold intercepts, including 22m @ 2.3g/t Au and 11m @ 4.5g/t Au. Initial work will involve data compilation, geochemical sampling, airborne magnetic surveys, and air-core drilling in early 2025. At least 12 priority targets have been identified for further testing. Simultaneously, Gateway is actively pursuing business development opportunities, focusing on Australia's high-quality gold, copper, and nickel-copper-PGE assets. The company also maintains exposure to WA gold production through its Brightstar Resources shareholding and AU$2 million in deferred shares.
