Flynn Gold Limited (ASX: FG1) has concluded the initial phase of exploration at its Lake Johnston lithium project, where three additional pegmatite intrusions were uncovered during soil sampling. The comprehensive mapping and sampling initiative comprised the collection of 281 soil and three rock chip samples, with pending assays. The terrain's shallow cover and high weathering potential indicate the likelihood of more pegmatite intrusions.
Recognizing the area's promise, Flynn considers the Lake Johnston Project exceptionally prospective for spodumene-rich lithium pegmatites. The project, situated eastward and adjacent to TG Metals Limited's grounds, positions Flynn's venture approximately 7km southeast from the recent lithium pegmatite discovery at the Burmeister Project in Western Australia. This development marks an encouraging step forward for Flynn Gold Limited's commitment to further exploration in the region.
