EV Resources Expands Antimony Portfolio with Strategic US Acquisition

EV Resources Limited (ASX: EVR) has entered into an agreement to acquire 49 unpatented claims at the historic Coyote Creek Antimony Project in Utah, USA. The project area covers remnants of antimony mining dating back to the early 1900s, with a 1975 historical (non-JORC) estimate of 12.7 million tonnes at 0.79% antimony. The United States currently lacks domestic antimony production, relying entirely on imports, making this project strategically important. This acquisition aligns with EVR’s strategy to build an Americas-based antimony division, complementing its earlier move to acquire a 70% stake in the Los Lirios project in Mexico. Exploration at Coyote Creek is set to begin in 2025 following regulatory approvals, with planned trenching, sampling, and drilling to validate historical data under JORC Code. The transaction will be funded through internal capital, positioning EVR to become a potential domestic supplier of a critical mineral in the US.
