EV Resources Appoints Hugh Callaghan as Managing Director

EV Resources Limited (ASX:EVR) has appointed Mr. Hugh Callaghan as its new Managing Director. With a background in corporate roles at Rio Tinto and Xstrata, as well as experience in managing junior mining companies, Mr. Callaghan brings extensive expertise in operating in Latin America. His previous roles include a management position at Escondida in Chile and serving as CEO of an ASX-listed company, where he oversaw the development of a 3000tpd operating mine in Chile.

In line with EVR's strategy to have management located near their projects, Mr. Callaghan will be relocating permanently to the Americas, with a base in Peru. EV Resources Executive Director, Adrian Paul, expressed his satisfaction with Mr. Callaghan's appointment, emphasizing his extensive experience in Latin America, which will be crucial in advancing exploration activities across EVR's copper assets in the region. The agreement between the company and Mr. Callaghan is for a term of three years, with a termination notice period of six months, and an annual fee of AU$240,000.
